When I saw facilities of Metropolitan works, I decided to use water-jet cutter to make something wasted, otherwise though a usable object. Reclaiming odd roof-top tiles is my conclusion, as they are often not used again, and also made in material which is difficult to fabricate if not using Water-jet cutter.

Large and heavy roof-top tiles are cut in appropriate size for houses of small garden birds. The facades of them refer to Victorian houses to appreciate history of the roof tile. Those patterns are engraved at the same time when the board is cut via laser cutter, to reduce manufacturing processes.

The tall birdhouse is suitable for Blue tits, short ones for Wrens, both common birds in wide area of Europe. Large two story houses on stand are food and water feeder for all small garden birds.  The roof tile is heavy enough to sit on top of those bird-house, and easy to remove to clean the house.  Birds come back next season only if the house is emptied and cleaned.
