A scale models of well known pieces of furniture made out of discard design magazines using the Matrix 3D printer by Mcor Technologies. The files are provided by the magazines so the reader can re-cycle unwanted ones into their favorite pieces. The idea can be exported on to other themed magazines. If you are a car magazine reader, you can turn your old copies into the latest models or if you are into celebrities then you can re-cycle your old Grazia copies into a Paris Hilton or Victoria Beckham miniatures. The project questions how digital technologies affects production of artifacts and explore sustainable ways of materializing objects.

Note:
The models that you see here are made using standard A4 paper. Mcor Technologies are already working to be able to use paper from magazines or catalogues and It will be possible in the near future.

Back up Objects
A series of object with great emotional value from the owner that have been back up and then materialize by printing them with a 3D Printer (stereolithography rapid prototyping). Although the copy will never reach the same emotional value as the original, at least it can be a way to preserve it in case is lost, broken or stolen.Back up objects is already possible turning the matter into digital information.  As objects become digital we will be able to treat them the same way as word files; print, copy, download, or just send them via email. How will this affect the way we produce, buy, use, or share everyday objects?
